Well it appears that the whole memegate issue is now blowing over - which has been a little traumatic to say the least. But I’m so grateful to those who have sent me private messages of support and jokes to cheer me up.

Here’s my two favourites which are NOT for public posting.

There once was a member, a tutor

So blessed with a good sense of humor

He drafted a meme

Deemed much too extreme.

Suspended? That's merely a rumor!

Glad to hear this. The IFoA massively overreacted, as shown by this poll (96 to 5 in your favour): https://www.reddit.com/r/Actuary_news/comments/twaiyd/which_do_you_think_brings_the_profession_of/. Their humourless overreaction is likely to have been far more damaging to their reputation (and those of actuaries generally unfortunately) than your joke. I hope they have learned something from this, and sorry you were put through this trauma.
